THE SHOW

First performed in one of Chicago's famed Second City Theaters, Me Talking, Mostly is a playful look at the art of performing. Through storytelling, poetry, music, audience interaction and physical humor, this solo sketch show explores the state of modern comedy and examines the absurd nature of laughter. By diving into collective audience expectations, showing the thoughts a performer has while onstage and song & dance, this playful twist on the genre will make you think, but most importantly make you laugh through its silliness, reflection and delightful absurdism.

Mumble Theatre

"[...]Mick pares down his comedy to find some moments of real comic gold where you find yourself laughing along with the rest of the audience without really knowing why – and then he throws that moment right back at you so you can laugh some more. He’s a gentle, charming, head-trip of an act.

Prepare yourself for 2,700 seconds of physical comedy, absurdly twisted improv, song and dance and full-on audience participation that will leave you wanting more of this fresh, intelligent and beguiling act."
